Ordering & Sizing
How do I find my size?
Each product page has a Size Guide with garment measurements in inches. We recommend measuring a garment you already own and love, then comparing those measurements to our size chart. If you're between sizes, we suggest sizing up for a more relaxed fit.
What do your fit types mean?
We offer three fit types. Regular Fit is true to size with 2–3 inches of ease. Easy Fit is a relaxed A-line with 4–6 inches of ease — it drapes rather than clings. Relaxed Fit is intentionally oversized with 6–8 inches of ease, designed for a generous, unhurried silhouette. Each product page shows which fit type that garment is.
Some products show grouped sizes like S-M or L-XL. What does that mean?
Our Easy Fit and Relaxed Fit garments are designed with generous ease, so one size comfortably fits a range. S-M fits sizes Small and Medium, L-XL fits Large and Extra Large, and 2XL-3XL fits 2XL and 3XL. Check the size chart for exact garment measurements if you want to be sure.
Can I change my size after placing an order?
Since our pieces are made to order, please reach out to us within 12 hours of placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate the change. After that, production may have already begun.
Made to Order & Dispatch
What does "made to order" mean?
Every Kaahiri piece is crafted after you order it. We don't mass-produce or hold large inventories. Your garment is hand block-printed and tailored by artisans in Sanganer, Rajasthan specifically for you. This means less waste and more care in every piece.
How long does it take to dispatch?
Made-to-order pieces are dispatched within 7–10 business days from the date of your order. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is on its way.
How long does delivery take after dispatch?
Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 3–5 business days for metro cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai) and 5–7 business days for other locations across India.

Fabric & Care
What fabric are your garments made from?
All Kaahiri pieces are made from 100% pure cotton, sourced from Indian mills. Some pieces use naturally undyed cotton (like The Pearl Co-ord and The Ivory Hathi Dress), while others are dyed using artisan techniques.
What is hand block-printing?
Hand block-printing is a centuries-old craft where artisans carve patterns into wooden blocks, dip them in natural dye, and press them onto fabric by hand — one impression at a time. Each piece carries the subtle irregularities that make it unmistakably handmade. Our prints are done in Sanganer, Rajasthan, where this tradition has been practiced for over six generations.
Will the colour bleed or fade?
Hand block-printed fabrics may release a small amount of excess dye in the first 1–2 washes. This is completely normal and is a characteristic of natural dyes. We recommend washing your garment separately in cold water with a mild detergent for the first two washes. After that, the colour will hold beautifully.
How should I care for my Kaahiri piece?
Gentle hand wash separately with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Dry in shade, inside out. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp. Do not tumble dry or wring. Each product page has specific care instructions for that garment.
Will the cotton shrink?
Our cotton is pre-shrunk during the finishing process, so shrinkage should be minimal (under 2%). Following the care instructions — particularly avoiding hot water and tumble drying — will keep your garment in its intended shape.
