Refund policy
RETURN, EXCHANGE & STORE CREDIT POLICY
Each Kaahiri piece is hand-block-printed by artisans on natural cotton. Slight variations in print alignment, colour depth, weave texture and stitch are inherent to the craft - they are not defects, they are the signature of a handmade object. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase, you accept these terms.
No Cash Refunds
Kaahiri does not offer monetary refunds to the original payment method under any circumstance. Where a return or exchange is approved at our sole discretion, the only remedy is a store credit valid for 12 months from the date of issue, redeemable on a subsequent order at kaahiri.com.
Exchanges - When We Accept Them
We accept exchange requests in two situations only:
We do not accept exchanges for change of mind, colour-preference, shade variation due to monitor settings, fit dissatisfaction, or styling regret.
Size Exchange - Shipping Cost
Where a size exchange is approved, the customer bears the full cost of couriering the original piece back to our studio and the re-shipping cost of the replacement. Kaahiri does not arrange or pay for reverse pickup on size exchanges.
48-Hour Reporting + Mandatory Unboxing Video
Any claim of damage, defect or wrong product must be raised by email to kaahiri.co@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by:
Claims raised after 48 hours, or without an unboxing video, will not be considered for any remedy without exception.
Every Claim Is Subject to Review
Store credit is issued only after Kaahiri has received and physically inspected the returned product and confirmed the claim satisfies the above conditions. Kaahiri reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine, on a case-by-case basis, whether a store credit will be issued. Our determination is final and binding.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
Condition of Returned Product
Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, with all original tags and invoice intact. Items received in non-saleable condition will be shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense; no store credit will be issued.
Approval Process & Timeline
Once a claim is registered with the required evidence, our team will respond within 2 business days. If approved in principle, we will share a return address. Ship the item to the address provided within 7 days of approval. Once received and inspected, store credit is issued within 7 business days to the email on the order.
Handcrafted Variation Is Not a Defect
Minor irregularities in print placement, weave, dye depth, stitch line and colour tonality are inherent characteristics of hand-block-printed natural cotton. By placing your order you acknowledge and accept this.
Note: This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Where a product is found to be genuinely defective, deficient or misrepresented, Kaahiri will provide a remedy as required under Rule 6(3) of the E-Commerce Rules. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer's statutory rights.
